Item Conocimientos y actitudes frente al uso medicinal del cannabis en estudiantes de noveno y décimo semestre de enfermería de una universidad privada de Palmira en el año 2023(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Bedoya Sánchez, Jonathan; Castro Gañan, Miriam; Rosero Cruz, Maryuri; Aguilar Murillo, MaritzaMedical cannabis refers to the use of prepared products or active ingredients from the Cannabis sativa L plant, as a therapy to manage some diseases or relieve certain symptoms. Objective: Determine the knowledge and attitudes towards the use of medicinal cannabis in ninth and tenth semester nursing students at a private university in Palmira in 2023. Methodology: This is a quantitative, comparative, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional study whose population under study is students from the Faculty of Health of the Palmira section, the unit of analysis will be the ninth and tenth semester nursing students. Results: 56% of the population (n=29) have moderate knowledge about medicinal cannabis; followed by 37% with very little knowledge and 8% with substantial knowledge about medicinal cannabis. Conclusion: The Nursing program does not provide the necessary skills to acquire knowledge about this type of alternative therapy.
