They are widely known, common and potentially disabling, they can differ in severity and evolution, and they represent a high social cost that translates into disabilities, costly treatments, repercussions on the production of the company where the worker works (2). Coffee is one of the main and oldest monocultures in the Central American region, extensive and intensive, which demands high amounts of labor. In all producing countries, collection has been characterized by a shortage of the labor force. (3).
