Currently, the consumer is looking for natural products that provide multiple health benefits, one of these products is the Aloe Vera or Barbadensis Miller plant, being one of the most studied plants due to its healing, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory and gastric protector. According to the above, it is necessary to exploit this easily cultivable natural resource in our region for its agro-industrial marketing with the rest of the world. The method used consisted of the bibliographic review of the main academic databases, such as Scielo, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. Thirty studies were selected that adapt to the bibliographic needs of the study subject and according to the information analyzed, it was found that the growing market of the sale of products based on Aloe Vera presents a very positive outlook for the coming years, without a doubt, it is an opportunity that presents several challenges for Valle del Cauca
