Item Variables macroeconómicas que inciden en la cotización del precio del petróleo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2021) Rubiano Arcila, Hector Julio; Reveiz, Miguel Angel; Granada, Ivan Andres; Gomez Lopez, Julian MauricioThis document shows the influence of precise macroeconomic variables on the price of a good, in this case oil. The impact is worldwide, so the research is not sectorized to a specific country or region, emphasizing reference countries when the oil market is spoken. The study of the variables that influence the price of oil, is made on the basis of registered and official documents such as databases, articles taken from authorized economic journals, statutes, etc., which have global coverage. The research takes as a reference a qualitative methodology to support the impacts of these variables, the empirical studies collected are the theoretical basis of the article. The relationship and importance between the price of oil and oil reserves, the influence generated in the oil market by the global powers that have them and their impact are demonstrated. In the second instance, it is shown how the oil policies chosen by OPEC control and manipulate the price of oil. Finally, the behavior of oil is reflected in market issues, seeing it from the perspective of supply and demand, generating clear fluctuations in its behavior.
