Item Conocimiento sobre el uso de los puntos azules por parte de los vendedores de droguerías del barrio Vallegrande en Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Gómez Martinez, Danny Alexander; Muñoz Cabrera, Mabel; Restrepo Zapata, Jorge HumbertoThe aim of this research was to find out about the reasons for the use of the Blue Points by drug dealers in the Vallegrande district. The aim is to identify whether the blue dot is a tool used for the collection of leftover medicines in the drugstores of that neighborhood, helping to conserve health, the ecosystem and the compliance with the standard of comprehensive management of hospital waste and the like, Decree 2676 of December 22, 2000, (Chapter III). This project was carried out through surveys, and training to drugstore staff which allows to know about the appropriate use for the collection of expired and partially consumed drugs by drug store vendors of the Neighborhood Valley large in the city of Santiago de Cali. En su divulgación, este Tratado ha agotado su edición inicial, y como referente útil que pretende ser, precisa de una actualización en determinados conceptos. El interés que los profesionales de la salud, en especial cirujanos vasculares venimos manifestando por la entidad patológica englobada en el concepto de “pie diabético” deriva fundamentalmente de la gravedad de sus manifestaciones clínicas, cuya expresión final, significada por la pérdida parcial o total de la extremidad, acontece en el ámbito de la práctica clínica.Item Hábitos de almacenamiento de los medicamentos en las viviendas del Municipio de la Cumbre Valle, en el año 2019(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Angulo Saa, Camila; Ante Rodríguez, Leidy Johana; Granobles Grisales, María Luisa; Restrepo Zapata, Jorge Humbertomedication storage habits in underdeveloped countries and especially in Colombia have been a matter of concern for health institutions and a topic of study for the public health risks they can produce, such as drug poisoning. Expired, self-medication, customs not to “save them for when they are needed. Objective: to determine the storage conditions of medicines in the homes of the Cumbre Valle Municipality. Methodology: a quantitative, descriptive and inductive approach was used. The inhabitants over the age of 18 belonging to the Municipality of the Cumbre Valle were invited to participate in the research through semi-structured surveys, once they have expressed their authorization through informed consent. Results: of the 52 respondents, 73% said they do not read the instructions that the medicines bring before storing or consuming them, 60% do not stop to check the expiration dates. With this, it can also be observed that 63% of respondents stated that they have never received information about the storage of medicines by the health professional.
