    This paper aimed to analyze sociocultural variables inherent in the negotiations of the company REMODELACIONES Y ACABADOS LTDA of the construction sector, remodeling subsector, located in Cali, Colombia. This study approached the analysis of the company’s trajectory and strategies in the international market that were used and, based on Hofstede’s theory, four dimensions of this were described for its main import markets. The results obtained in this research could be used to help Vallecaucanas construction companies understand the effects of the intercultural context on their internationalization processes to develop intercultural skills to deal with conflict situations that may affect business
