The purpose of the following review article is to identify diseases derived from office work activities such as work related to a desk with computer access and in turn to be able to establish prevention measures for these diseases. To achieve this objective, the databases provided by the Santiago de Cali University were used during the period 2017 to 2022. It was evidenced that the diseases derived from office work are mainly visual damage due to constant exposure to UV lights, the lumbar damage due to bad postures and the obstruction of blood flow due to lack of mobility in the legs, in addition, risk prevention methods are exposed, such as risk management systems designed in Colombia from Law 1562 of 2012 that modified occupational risks and I consider occupational health as safety and health at work with the purpose of creating and implementing organizational plans such as labor gymnastics that reduce stress symptoms and contribute to proper physical conditions and by reducing occupational accidents and illnesses. In the reality of this type of office work, companies do not usually give great importance to the care of their collaborators in the implementation of the SG-SST, giving rise to the fact that in the long term the people dedicated to these tasks develop without knowing certain diseases that otherwise Being treated in time can lead to significant deterioration in health.
