Item Estudio comparativo de la adaptación de carillas cerámicas cementadas con cemento resinoso y resina compuesta precalentada utilizando 3 técnicas de obtención(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Romero Martínez, Nicolás; Quiroz Cabrera, Daniel Alexander; Zuleta Cárdenas, Julián Fernando; Campo Saavedra, Juan Diego (Director); Arana Gordillo, Luis Alfonso (Director)INTRODUCTION: Analog, digital or mixed techniques require the use of specific materials that provide good clinical performance, translated into resistance, dimensional and color stability; excellent esthetic characteristics among them, wide range of translucency or fluorescence opacity among others, being then currently dental ceramics the materials that meet most of these specifications. OBJECTIVE: To compare the adaptation of anterior veneers with the use of a resinous cement and with a preheated composite resin, using different procurement techniques. METHOD: Comparative experimental with a qualitative approach. RESULTS: 18 teeth distributed in 6 groups were evaluated according to the workflow and type of cementation; a larger gap was identified in the mixed flow cemented with resin as the average gap was 141.7±50.9 while for the same flow using cement an adaptation with 101.7±64.4 was achieved. With respect to the analog and digital flow the gap was smaller in the specimens in which cement was used as the averages were 40 plus or -10.6 for the former and 46.7±13.9 for the latter; In the digital flow the difference for the resin cemented specimens was 33 µm compared to the analog flow. CONCLUSIONS: Workflow bonding in the incisal area is more variable when using cement with mixed workflow. Comparatively, the variability of adhesion in the incisal area is much higher when using resin with analog and digital workflow than when using cement.
