Item Determinantes que afectan al tiempo de búsqueda de empleo en los individuos, según sus características individuales: un análisis de supervivencia para las 4 áreas metropolitanas principales de Colombia para el año 2019(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) García Martínez, Yesika Alexandra; Potes Tenorio, Hilmar Nathalia; Bonilla Cárdenas, SantiagoWithin this document, analyzes the determinants that affect individuals' job search time, according to his individual's characteristic, a survival analysis from Colombia's four principal metropolitan areas for 2019 year. To perform this analysis, the GEIH (Great Integrated Household Survey) database from the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE). On this document it will be estimated Cox proportional hazards regression, to find the results that explain the time of job search, that is divided into "find and job" and "not find job", further for a better explanation, we use the Kapla -Meier estimator. Techniques and result obtained from the estimate, show that the Individuals characteristics influence the job searches’s time and the probabilities to get out of unemployment in a specific time of search
