    Introduction: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) represent the main cause of global mortality, disproportionately affecting rural women due to factors such as limited access to health resources, poor dietary habits, and socioeconomic barriers. In Colombia, rural women play a central role in agricultural production but face challenges in maintaining their cardiovascular well-being. Objective: to design an educommunication strategy in health, to promote empowerment in women in relation to their self-care and prevent cardiovascular diseases in the rural population of Valle del Cauca.
