Until the date of the literature search this procedure was legally accepted in 5 countries: Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Canada and Colombia, this last country is protected under Resolution 1216 of 2015 that legalizes Euthanasia under the right of dignified and voluntary death to all persons with autonomy, decision criteria and who present an incurable or terminal illness
