Item Participación política y organizativa en la acción comunal: Delegados municipales y distritales trabajando a favor del desarrollo sostenible territorial(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2025) Ruiz Saa, Jesús Antonio; Orejuela Barberi, Fabio Nury (Director)The political and organizational participation of Quinees leaders who also function as delegates in the Federation of Communal Action Boards in Valle del Cauca is a voluntary act carried out in the context of communal action given in the municipalities and districts that make up the department, but at the same time, it constitutes that driving element of development at the national level. The objective of this research was to analyze the social and community participation of the delegates of the Communal Action Boards within the framework of the Federation of Valle del Cauca for the benefit of departmental development. For its progress, the researcher considered it pertinent to apply the mixed research approach through which he designed and used qualitative and quantitative instruments to investigate communal members of different municipalities of Valle del Cauca, which are part of the Communal Federation in the department. Both the survey and the interview were carried out with the participation of a focus group made up of 23 delegates who participated, providing informative elements of great significance to establish results and analysis of the study carried out. From this context, it is noted that one of the important quantitative results was that the community action has a limited number of young professionals who, in their connection with the community organization, can contribute knowledge and fundamental actions to contribute to territorial strengthening but also in the design and implementation of Development Plans. From a qualitative point of view, it was possible to see the political and social disposition of the delegates to work constantly for their territories and their continued commitment to the advancement of the Cauca Valley. Finally, it is noted that one of the express conclusions is the need for motivation for young people to join the community organization in the occupation of representative positions through which they can continue to contribute to territorial construction from the municipal to the departmental level and therefore with this contribution, advance towards the development of the national territory.
