Item Intervención fisioterapéutica en trastornos musculoesqueléticos en trabajadores: revisión de alcance (2017-2022)(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Galindes Núñez, Jenny Fernanda; Mesa Lozano, Valentina; Olmos Botero, Jhovanna Edelmira ( Dirctora)Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are one of the main occupational health problems worldwide. To analyze the available literature on the effects of physiotherapeutic interventions in workers with MSDs, a systematic search was conducted in databases such as PubMed, Scielo, Scopus, Dialnet, and Springerlink, including studies published between 2017 and 2022 in English and Spanish. The results indicate that back pain and injuries are the most common occupational MSDs, followed by joint pain, fatigue, loss of mobility in the limbs, and potential neuronal damage. Physiotherapeutic strategies such as muscle strengthening, cardiovascular exercise, yoga, electrostimulation, workplace ergonomics, and neuronal strengthening show positive effects in preventing and treating MSDs. It is concluded that occupational activities are a major factor in the development of MSDs in both the short and long term, and that physical strengthening is an effective strategy for their prevention and treatment.
