    Estrategias didácticas enfocadas en las clases expositivas para facilitar el aprendizaje autónomo orientadas en el programa de Instrumentación Quirúrgica de la Universidad Santiago de Cali

    The present research aims to determine the didactic strategies focused on the expositive classes to facilitate autonomous learning in students of Surgical Instrumentation of the University of Santiago de Cali. The type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. It was proposed to identify, select, classify and describe didactic strategies to promote autonomous learning in the Surgical Instrumentation program of the Santiago de Cali University. Texts, articles from indexed journals and research related to the topic of autonomy in the process of learning and teaching were consulted, and an interview was conducted with teachers from the program of Surgical Instrumentation, Education, Research and Epidemiology. According to the results, didactic strategies identified to develop the autonomous learning competences in the Surgical Instrumentation program, amount others are: simulation, problem-based learning (PBL), case study, reading and writting strategies, cooperative work and familiarization of topics. As a proposal it is necessary the training of teachers by high level experts to implement didactic strategies that favor autonomous learning and raise awareness among students from the first semester of the commitment and responsibility they must assume in a learning process in higher education.
