Item Impactos socio familiares en consumidores de sustancias psicoactivas en los usuarios de alma CAD, Valle del Cauca(2024) Arévalo Osorio, Alexa; Morales Valencia, Mariana; Trochez Martinez, Yennifer; Melo Lopez, Diana Paola (Director)The following chapter of research aims to identify the socio-family impacts generated by the consumption of psychoactive substances in users of the Alma CAD rehabilitation center located in the township of Borrero Ayerbe, based on specific objectives, such as analyzing the impact of the consumption of psychoactive substances on communication and the dynamics of family relationships; to determine coping patterns and strategies in affected families and finally, to understand the socio-family context and family changes associated with the consumption of psychoactive substances. Finally, the findings showed that positive family relationships, characterized by affective bonding and emotional support, can be protective factors that minimize the likelihood of drug use. However, poor assertive communication and family cohesion are related to an increased risk of psychoactive substance use. The research highlights that the consumption of psychoactive substances changes the perception of reality, which is associated with family patterns of consumption and communication problems, which increases the risk of addictive behaviors.
