Item Implementación de una técnica analítica por espectroscopia infrarrojo cercano (NIR) para la determinación y cuantificación de óxido de zinc en crema tópica al 40%(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Montoya Candelo, Sandra Viviana; López Parra, Lizbeth Lorena (Directora); Amelines Sarria, Oscar Felipe (Director)In the present work, the validation of the NIR spectroscopy methodology for the quantification of zinc oxide in 40% topical cream was carried out, evaluating different analytical parameters by means of a calibration curve, resulting in adequate analytical precision ( intermediate precision with CV0.998 and recoveries between 97% - 103% for accuracy, robustness was also evaluated with 3 different factors that could influence the determination of zinc oxide, to then carry out a comparative study between the methodology by volumetry and the NIR methodology.Finally, the application of green chemistry was taken into account, evaluating the twelve principles established by Anastas and Warner; a score of 10 on the Likert scale for the NIR spectroscopy methodology in the quantification of ZnO in 40% topical cream, also achieving a decrease in co This and analysis time, reagent savings, and reduction of polluting waste that could generate a greater environmental impact, with the use of this technique in the company.
