Item Técnicas abordadas en la traducción de canciones del español latinoamericano al inglés(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022-02-04) Martinez Gonzalez, Andres Felipe; Montezuma Tascon, Stephany; Lozano, Pablo (Director)Throughout these five modules and the different topics covered in them, one subject that caught our attention as students was the translation techniques. Those techniques that can be used to make a good translation, respecting the original text and all its clauses. In order to give it a different perspective, it has been decided to approach it from the translation of songs from Latin American Spanish into English. Having said that, such techniques will be presented and explained here, and will be integrated at the end in an exercise of translation of a song that, once translated, complies with the principles of translation.
