Item Implementación del método invariante en el aprendizaje de lectura y escritura de escolares con discapacidad auditiva(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Mina Corrales, Angie Nathalia; García Arango, July Marcela (Directora)Hearing plays a crucial role in the language development of children, which is closely linked to the acquisition of reading and writing skills. Individuals with hearing disabilities face challenges in receiving and understanding oral language. These difficulties can directly impact their ability to learn to read and write, leading to potential delays in language skills. Currently, due to technological advancements, globalization, and the demands of educational processes, academia has had to provide flexible responses that adapt to the needs and heterogeneity of this population in the teaching methods of reading and writing. As a response to the above, the invariable method is proposed as a different alternative for learning to read and write, based on phonological activities that involve playing to make it an enjoyable and different experience. Therefore, this scope review from a qualitative descriptive and exploratory approach aimed to describe the implementation of the invariable method in the learning of reading and writing in students with hearing disabilities from 2015 to 2023. To achieve the objective set, the analysis of the collected evidence is presented, identifying the benefits and recognizing the limitations of the method's use in the school context of students with hearing loss. It is highlight that the invariable method influences the reading and writing learning in children with hearing disabilities, based on aspects such as phonetic and phonological awareness, willpower, symbolic and theoretical thinking, the sign-reality relationship, symbolic encoding, creative production of oral words, and the graphic representation of phonemes, contributing to the reading and writing understanding, appropriation, and practice.
