Item Determinantes del desempleo en la mujer afodescendiente en las 13 áreas metropolitanas de colombia, periodo 2022-I(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Melo Espitia, Yuli; Rubio Sarmiento, Sandra Liliana; Durán Peralta, JulianThe present investigation have as objective to identify the determiners that influence in the unemployment of the afro-descendent woman in Colombia and its 13 metropolitan areas for the first trimester of the year 2022, in agreement with the data supplied by DANE through La Gran Encuesta Integrada de Hogares (GEIH). The non-linear economic model that is estimated: Logit, whose dependent variable is type dummy where: 1 is being an afro-descendent woman unemployed and 0 is being an afro-descendent woman employed. The explicative variables taken into account are: age, marital status, head of household, educational level and the location by metropolitan area. Between the most important results obtained, it is found that being the head of household, having a superior educational level and being an adult, the probability of being an afro-descendent woman in the situation of unemployment is decreased. It concludes in the investigation that there exist an improvement in the access of a job when more educational years are accumulated.
