Objective: To review the available scientific evidence on the physical and psychological repercussions derived from musculoskeletal injuries in conventional and wheelchair basketball athletes. Methodology: Systematic review of databases. Results: It was found that, regardless of the type of injury, injuries are a constant risk for athletes bringing basketball, achieving physical and psychological manifestations that, together, depending on the management given to them, can positively or negatively affect recovery. of the athlete, causing alterations in their social and family life. Conclusions: Its necessary to carry out an interdisciplinary approach to meet the physiological and psychological needs of the players.
