Item Impacto de las sustancias psicoactivas en las familias según su experiencia(2024) Sanchez Caicedo, Yuliana Maria; Lopez Franco, Luis Esteban; Gil Claros, Maria Fernanda (Director)This thesis addresses a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, the purpose of which is to explore the experiences of two families in which one of its members is involved in the consumption of psychoactive substances. The main objective is to understand the perspectives, relate the experiences and analyze the reflections of the members of these families regarding the situation experienced. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews directed to the relatives of the individual affected by dependence on psychoactive substances. Subsequently, these interviews were transcribed and analyzed according to the objectives set out in addition to the established contextual, legal and theoretical frameworks; the responses to the interviews revealed how these personal experiences have generated important changes in the lives of the interviewees, for example, some adopting habits such as smoking or facing anxiety crises and persistent fears, while others have reconfigured their beliefs and behaviors, showing themselves more open to substance use in certain cases. These experiences highlight the need to address the consumption of psychoactive substances in a comprehensive manner, considering both the individual and their family environment, promoting empathy, mutual support and providing adequate resources to face these challenges in an effective and healthy way.
