Item Revisión de los sistemas de gestión ambiental en la producción de biogás a través del uso de biodigestores(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Jaramillo Morenо, Yenifer Daniela; Carvajal Sanchez, Joan David; Lerma Rendon, Juan David; Garcia Jimenez, Juan Camilo (Director)The objective of this article is to make a review of environmental management systems in the production of biogas through the use of biodigesters, so that the information found in recent documents about the implementation of EMS during the process of biodigestion of organic matter allows to identify and measure the impact generated both by ignorance about the subject and new technologies in the generation of alternative energy and by the lack of socialization and training, in agricultural and farming communities. The qualitative and deductive methodology was used, highlighting the observation of different authors regarding the benefits and advantages of the use of biodigesters in the production of biogas; all supported by research articles consulted in the virtual library of the Universidad Santiago de Cali through ScienceDirect and in publications made in Google Academy, which allowed having a broader vision of how biogas acts in the different communities and how it becomes an alternative to minimize the environmental impact resulting from the uncontrolled burning of fossil fuels. The review of the environmental management systems allowed understanding and dimensioning how biogas generation is able to address and solve a problem by becoming an alternative energy generation and promoting a solution to the reduction of greenhouse gases, the optimization of resources and the profitability of companies.
