    El papel del estado, como garante de derechos en los conflictos étnico-territoriales en el norte del departamento del Cauca, “Caso Hacienda San Rafael”, vereda Mazamorrero-municipio de Santander de Quilichao

    This investigation addressed the issue of ethnic-territorial conflicts in the north of the department of Cauca, the case of the San Rafael farm, where the Colombian State, in compliance with the sentence of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights, Case 11. 101 "Caloto" Massacre, Colombia, 13 April 2000, is obliged to acquire and 10 hand over 15,663 hectares of land to the Nasa indigenous people, which it has not complied with, and under pressure from this indigenous community, it has given them the title to the San Rafael farm, which belongs to the ancestral territory of the Afros. In accordance with the above, the objective was to analyze the role of the State as a guarantor of rights in the ethnic-territorial conflicts in the North of the Cauca, in the case of the San Rafael farm, Mazamorrero-Municipality of Santander de Quilichao. The methodological approach for the elaboration of this work was the documentary review, from the Dialectical Materialist perspective.

    The current research study named “I AM NOT A DUMB TO BE HIDDEN” socioeconomics and political conditions associated to the expansion of FARC/EP to Mejicano River during 2010/2015. Case study of San José del Guayabo township, is the result of an academic process that began with the course of the research seminar, this is an answer to the fulfilment of requirements to get the university degree. Beyond of the fulfilment of requirement this research study answered questions that many people of San José del Guayabo make about the presence of FARC/EP in their territory. The research work is divided into three major stages, the first stage presents elements that structure the research, such as the background that accounts for the research carried out on the topic proposed here; the second stage present three chapters that account for the analysis of each specific objective, making an approach that respond to the reality studied from a perspective of totality; finally, the analysis of the results, conclusions and recommendations is presented in terms of the contributions of the research in the process of disciplinary and professional training for Social Work.
