    Reparación endovascular de las patologías de la aorta torácica (TEVAR): Revisión de alcance

    Introduction: Thoracic aortic aneurysms arise in the population worldwide, these are associated with arterial widening, worsening the weakness of the blood vessel wall; At present, there are minimally invasive endovascular treatment surgical techniques to treat them. Objective: analyze endovascular repair of thoracic aorta pathology (TEVAR) surgical process. Materials and Methods: A scope review was carried out with the help of a tracking matrix through 62 scientific studies according to selection criteria through academic repository and databases of specialized knowledge. Results: The main indications for performing a TEVAR are the level of complication, size of the aneurysm, aortic diameter, symptoms, and diagnosis of the patient; the surgical procedure is: endoprosthesis; Their limitations and complications cannot be ignored, such as access problems, endoleak, cerebrovascular accident, handling of supplies, and lack of training on the part of the health team. Conclusion: Thoracic aortic aneurysms have affected a large percentage of the population, they are treated by TEVAR, which must follow a series of indications to approach the patient, such as: progress, level of inflammation, difficulty of rupture, and diameter. aortic to avoid complications; In addition, the main procedure under this technique is thoracic aortic endoprosthesis
