Item Impacto de las normas internacionales de información financiera (NIIF) en la administración de las pymes manufactureras en Santiago de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Bonilla Aldana, Jhon Jairo; Ledesma Cepeda, Pablo Cesar; Astudillo Villegas, RicardoThe International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) are being implemented in the companies of the Country, after a training process, in the case of Group 2: - IFRS SMEs (Medium and small size companies) the process establishes: Opening Balance as of January 1, 2015 transition period 2015, first financial statements issued under IFRS year 2016. To belong to this group, the following characteristics must be met: a) Personnel plant between eleven (11) and two hundred (200) workers. b) Total assets worth between five hundred one (501) and less than thirty thousand (30,000) minimum legal monthly salaries in force1, where the dissemination and interpretation that has had discussion and controversy is allowed, more and more companies are motivating and venturing into this matter. The National debate on whether all companies should use the same set of accounting standards or if, on the contrary, special rules are required, for example, for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) has been extensive. Recently, some countries have started the process of international accounting harmonization by adopting the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). In Colombia, this process has had as a determining factor the issuance of Law 1314 of the year 2009.
