Item Algunas determinaciones socio-históricas que incidieron en el aumento de la violencia contra la mujer durante la pandemia por el covid-19 en la ciudad de Cali en el año 2020(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Heredia Canchala, Nasly Dayanna; Figueroa Gustin, Natalia Andrea; Gamez Muñoz, Diana Carolina; Chacón, Laura Sofia (Directora)The objective of this research work is to be able to identify the social determinations that influenced the increase in violence against women during the covid 19 pandemic in the city of Cali in 2020. This research was carried out under the critical general theory social and gender theory, with a qualitative approach using documentary analysis as an instrument and semi-structured interviews as a complement to the results of data collection. The analysis of the collected information allows to identify the different social determinations that attribute to the increase of violence against women, where the economic, cultural, mental health aspects and the decisions made by the National government sharpen and allow to make visible the different types of violence. to which the women were subjected, this situation evidences at all costs the violation and lack of guarantees of their fundamental rights.
