Item Estado del arte de la modernidad liquida en la educación superior en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Guerrero Urbano, Sandra Liliana; Lagos Figueroa, Jaime ArturoThe research called State of the art of liquid modernity in higher education in Colombia, held at the University of Santiago de Cali, to choose the title of Magister in higher education, was carried out with the purpose of answering the question How does the Modernity in higher education in Colombia, according to the state of the art to date? Through the documentation of liquid modernity according to the state of the art, the characterization of the same to date, taking liquid modernity as a category of analysis, the establishment of the incidence of liquid modernity in higher education according to the existing literature and, The link between the development of liquid modernity and higher education in Colombia. This research collected, documented, systematized and analyzed the publications of authors of the social sciences, philosophy, and education sciences related to modernity, liquid modernity, postmodernity and their influence on education, such as: Zygmund Bauman, Jürgen Habermas, Luisa Carlota Solé Puig, Anthony Giddens, Jean Francois Lyotard, Joan Rue, John Biggs and Ulrich Beck. Under a qualitative approach, which privileged the documentary review guided by the statement PRISMA (2010), which avoided bias in the identification, analysis and systematization of information derived from the investigative exercise. The research results were organized in two stages. The first one was aimed at characterizing the state of the art, where the biographical aspects of the consulted authors were discussed, the description of the social, political, economic, technological and scientific context of the publications, some Generalities of the documents as a summary of each, the interpretation of the justification and objectives of the publications, from the point of view of the authors. In the second moment, the incidence of liquid modernity as a category in higher education, in general and in Colombia, was analyzed according to the approaches documented in the first moment of the results. Although the existing literature on modernity and liquid modernity is vast, the state of the art on the incidence of these categories in education and higher education is limited. In general, works by the most representative author of this category Zygmund Bauman, and an additional book written by Joan Rue, where he makes a comparison of how the teacher teaches and the student learns in liquid modernity and the challenges that this implies for the two parties involved.
