Item Caracterización diagnóstica de accidentes de trabajo atendidos en urgencias de una IPS de alta complejidad en la ciudad de Cali del periodo enero a diciembre 2018(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Gaviria Rizo, Blanca Johanna; Castro Aranda, Álvaro EstebanThis research is carried out in a High Complexity IPS in the city of Cali and has as its objective the Diagnostic Characterization of the population attended by work accidents in the emergency service for a year, the information was collected from a database with a total of 1041 work accidents that received emergency care from January to December 2018, throughout this investigative work you can see the general characterization of the population and an arduous exploratory work of the data that allowed us to extract the variables with the greatest impact for this population. The occupational accident rate reported for 2018 was 645.135 for a rate of 6 per 100 workers. All this panorama allows us to demonstrate the need to investigate workplace accidents.
