Item La renovación digital de la rama judicial en Colombia: El acceso a la justicia virtual.(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2024) Galvez Duque, Jennifer; Peña Cuervo, Maria IsabelThe following article seeks to analyze the evolution that the judicial branch had regarding access to virtual justice. As a result of COVID-19 in 2020, the Congress of the Republic of Colombia issued decree 806 of 2020; by which it broadly tries to protect the measures to carry out information and communication technologies in all its judicial interventions, within the framework of the State of Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency. Said decree was regulated and became permanent legislation through Law 2213 of 2022. The purpose of this law is to use technological means for all judicial actions. It will also seek to analyze the challenges, advantages and disadvantages of said law in question, where The impact that the judicial branch had in the face of virtuality is exposed, both for those who practice the profession and for those who make use of the judicial apparatus and its different means.
