Item Análisis de la implementación del teletrabajo en las empresas de Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Belalcázar Millán, Julieth; Lasso Montoya, María Camila; Quiroz Macías, Paula Andrea; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)Teleworking is a form of work organization that consists of the performance of work activities outside the company, using information and communication technologies as support, the purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of teleworking in Colombian companies looking for know, its beginnings, characteristics, evolution and the Colombian legislation in front of this new modality of work, demonstrating the conditions to take into account for its implementation. This work has secondary sources from the review of documents in electronic databases and four interviews to officials of the Human Resources Area of organizations and / or entities that have already implemented this new work modality, yielding positive results for the company as for the worker. In conclusion, teleworking is a model that seeks the welfare of the worker and that organizations obtain benefits in terms of increased productivity, more efficient processes, lower costs and reduced absenteeism.Item Análisis de la oferta del programa de administración de empresas en las universidades de cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Araujo Sepúlveda, Leticia; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The Business Administration program is offered by all the universities of Cali, for this reason the need arises to compare its characteristics, which is of interest both for higher education institutions and for applicants to enter, and this analysis facilitates institutions, making decisions for the improvement of programs at the time of renewal of qualified registration or renewal of high quality. The purpose of this research was to analyze the offer of the Business Administration program in the universities of Cali. This work was carried out with secondary sources represented by documents such as books and articles from digital magazines taken from databases such as academic Google, Scielo, and websites of public and private entities. In addition, the technique that was initially used was the bibliographic review and then a documentary analysis. The results show that of the 13 Universities of Cali that offer the Business Administration program, three are public and 10 are private, of which six have high-quality accreditation, while 7 have this program accredited and 6 have both accreditations (institutional and program). The number of credits of the Administration programs ranges from 170 at the Icesi University to 142 at the Minuto de Dios University Corporation, which is possibly related to differences in the number of subjects and their hourly intensity. The number of semesters varies from 11 at the Universidad del Valle at night, to 8 semesters at the Universidad Católica, Universidad Antonio Nariño, Universidad Javeriana, Universidad Libre and Universidad Cooperativa. The universities of Cali coincide in training for entrepreneurship as a way to motivate their students and future professionals to create their own companies. Most universities offer the program during the day and at night, thus facilitating the possibility of studying and working, however, the existence of two additional modalities stands out: distance learning in the Minuto de Dios University Corporation and San Martin University and the virtual at the Santiago de Cali University and the Antonio Nariño University. The value of the semester varies widely among the universities, with the most expensive being those offered by the Icesi University ($10,800,000), the Pontifical Javeriana University ($9,554,000) and the Autonomous University of the West ($6,007,000), and the least expensive those offered by the Minuto de Dios University Corporation ($1,854,800), San Martin University ($1,865,800), Antonio Nariño University ($2,749,000), Antonio José Camacho University Institution ($2,771,004) and the National School Sports ($2,774,180), this difference in cost is related to the conditions that the universities put at the service of the students. In conclusion, the characteristics of the Business Administration programs offered by the universities of Cali, present differences in aspects such as: type of institution according to public or private nature, modality, working day, duration, number of credits, cost of the semester, plan studies, occupational profile, professional profile and accreditation status.Item Desafío del cumplimiento de los protocolos de bioseguridad como parte de la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SST) en Colombia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Hernández Cano, Lina Marcela; Reina Arenas, Natali; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The objective of this essay is to analyze the challenges and challenges for the implementation of biosafety protocols as part of occupational safety and health (OSH) programs in Colombia. For this, the characteristics of the biological risk and its management are described, it establishes the requirements that the legislation has established for the implementation of the biosafety protocols. At the methodological level, a bibliographic review was used, which involved consulting secondary sources, such as scientific articles, research reports and documents from official authorities. Biological risk management is more common in businesses such as health institutions, beauty centers, hairdressing and related businesses. In the commercial and industrial context, it is not so common that emphasis is placed on their identification and management. With the coronavirus: Covid -19 pandemic, the need for mitigation measures is evident so that companies do not interrupt operations and do not put their employees as customers in danger. In the case of biological risk in the country, it has been seen that it even has the requirements of the general occupational risk system, however, in practical terms, its management has focused more on institutions and / or companies in the health sector where it is more likely that you may incur an unwanted event from exposure to biological substances.Item Diseño de estrategias de educación ambiental para el manejo adecuado de los residuos sólidos y del uso del agua en el hogar infantil nuestra señora de los remedios de Dagua(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2023) Zuñiga Lozano, Edwars Steven; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The conception of learning against the conservation of natural resources through educational practices in early childhood, seeks to generate critical thinking through pedagogical practices, for this reason this research revolves around designing 3 environmental education strategies that impact the lives of those boys and girls under 5 years of age who are the ones cared for by the Nuestra Señora de los Remedios Children's Home, in this process all the educational agents were involved to aim at the didactic sequences that were used in the classrooms to attend to the three critical points that the institution has in the management of solid waste and water.Item Efecto de la pandemia en el empleo de los estudiantes de la facultad de ciencias económicas de la universidad santiago de cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Ibargüen Gutierrez, Michaell Daniel; Campo Montero, Juan Pablo; Villegas Velasco, Juan Camilo; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The Covid-19 pandemic, which spread throughout the world, and of course in Colombia, forced governments to take preventive isolation decisions, causing multiple economic and social impacts, which also affected educational institutions that had to adapt to new educational strategies. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the pandemic on the employment of students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Santiago de Cali University. For this, a bibliographic review was initially carried out and later a survey was made to the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the Santiago de Cali University. The results show that the COVID-19 pandemic in Colombia had a great negative effect on the economy and on education, which drastically affected labor activity, causing unemployment, especially among youth. In addition, educational institutions had to make important changes in the development of their activities that led to the need to implement virtual or remote classes in a short period of time. In the case of the students of the Faculty of Economic Sciences, their perception of the Covid pandemic and its effect on employment showed that a high percentage considered that the University took the appropriate measures to face the crisis caused, but that their jobs could affected or at least there was a decrease in income and although the students adapted to virtual classes, they prefer face-to-face classes and finally make recommendations so that the university contributes to developing strategies to preserve jobs or generate entrepreneurship. In conclusion, the pandemic caused a negative impact on the employment of the students of the Faculty, but the majority achieved the continuity of their studies, but it is necessary for the University to generate strategies to support the students to face future similar events that allow them to keep their jobs and not decrease their income.Item Empleabilidad de egresados de administración de empresas de la universidad santiago de cali (2017-2019) y el impacto de la pandemia en 2020(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Estupiñan Cortes, Melissa; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The Covid-19 pandemic has had a strong impact on the world economy, highlighting its effect on the field of the labor market towards new professionals. The purpose of this research was to characterize the employability situation of new business administration professionals at USC (2017-2019) and, in the context of the pandemic (2020), its effects on the behavior of the national labor market. This is a descriptive-quantitative study that took, by simple random sampling, the total population of 269 graduates of the Business Administration program from 2017 to 2019, for a significant sample of 136 graduates who were surveyed. The results show that the Covid-19 pandemic had a strong impact on the Colombian labor market, generating unemployment. Graduates of Business Administration from the Universidad Santiago de Cali between 2017 and 2019 were mostly employed in the service sector in care positions in private companies. However, there is a tendency to create companies in the commercial sector, in addition they consider that responsibility is their main quality and that their level of professional training is high. In conclusion, the pandemic had a strong impact on the increase in unemployment in Colombia, in addition, most of the graduates of Business Administration from USC have employment, an average level of responsibility and income, unleashing the existence of a good number of ventures, qualifying themselves with a high level of academic training.Item Factores determinantes para el éxito del liderazgo en los procesos organizacionales(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Ramírez Yusty, Andrés Felipe; Jaramillo Montes, Sebastián; Valoyes Marín, Juan Camilo; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)This document aims to identify the factors that determine the success of leaders in organizational processes. For this, the scopus, sciencedirect and springer databases were reviewed, using the words leadership, leadership styles and management processes leading human talent for the search, 30 articles published between 2010 and 2020 were selected, in which The leadership styles and characteristics of the leaders that propitiate the organizations to be successful in their processes were evidenced, establishing in this way, the impact that efficient leadership can have in the development of organizational processes. Among the main findings were scenarios in which depending on the leadership style, there is influence on the organizational climate and the performance of the collaborators, this being more productive in terms of the tasks assigned to them.Item Nivel de conocimiento, prácticas y actitudes sobre el manejo de residuos sólidos, de los habitantes del barrio Terrón Colorado, Comuna 1 de Cali(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Urbano Ortega, Gustavo Adolfo; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The management of solid waste has become a true social problem among the inhabitants of the Terrón Colorado neighborhood, it is not enough for the control entities to solve it or settle for thinking that collection is sufficient. It was necessary to join forces in order to permanently sensitize good practices and attitudes that would contribute to knowledge in the proper management of solid waste generated from homes. The purpose of this research was, To determine the level of knowledge, practices and attitudes about solid waste management, that the inhabitants of the Terrón Colorado neighborhood have, commune 1 in Santiago de Cali, motivating the culture of recycling and directly involving the local leaders, as main actors in the execution of the environmental agenda of the commune 1. In the development ware made interviews that decline in environmental culture related to the dynamics of the environment around us and also the lack of values that determine the behaviors that citizens must assume in the management of solid waste. The work also describes the strategies to be followed by the community, regarding strengthening a citizen culture that improves the behavior of each individual, in the attitude of the newspaper live on solid waste in the Terrón Colorado neighborhood. In conclusion, there is low knowledge in the community of Terrón Colorado neighborhood in the proper management of solid waste.Item Oferta de programas académicos de las universidades presentes en el municipio de Buenaventura(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Urmendez Campo, Danna Yuleni; Vallejo Ruiz, Sally Camila; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The purpose of this research was to analyze the coverage of higher education institutions in the municipality of Buenaventura. For this, a review of the official websites of the four universities was carried out in addition to the official sites of the Ministry of Education such as CNA and SNIES. The results show that: The University of the Valley (Univalle) offers 6 technology programs, 5 undergraduate and one graduate, The University of the Pacific (Unipacifico) offers 3 technologies, 4 undergraduate programs and no postgraduate programs, Antonio Nariño University (UAN) offers one technology, one undergraduate and no postgraduate offer and The university corporation Minuto de Dios (Uniminuto) offers 3 technologies, 2 undergraduate and one postgraduate in the classroom and distance modalities. In conclusion, the areas with the greatest offer in the municipality of Buenaventura are economic sciences and engineering.Item Percepción de los estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales de la Universidad Santiago de Cali acerca de las empresas tradicionales y las empresas virtuales(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Bastidas Arciniegas, Rubén Danilo; Escobar Cabrera, Julio Cesar (Director)The purpose of this research is to know the students' perception of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the USC about traditional and virtual companies in 2019. The work was carried out based on secondary information collected from scientific articles and others. Database literature relevant to the case. A survey was then applied to the students mentioned to determine their level of knowledge about these two types of company and thus be able to assess the level of discernment on the subject under study. The results show marked differences in the natures of the two business models, and that the students do not recognize the thin lines that separate the two organizations. These documents allowed finding and confirming information about the negative aspects that arise. of psychosocial risks and stress, affecting the worker in their quality of life and in the organizational sphere of companies, allowing to broaden the knowledge on this problem, it was also found that different authors have explained how to mitigate this type of risk and how These have manifested themselves in a work environment. With the aforementioned, it seeks to publicize what have been the possible solutions or preventions that the service companies in Colombia have implemented in the prevention of psychosocial risk and in the health care of workers, maintaining their Organizations a safe work environment based on the SG-SST, allowing workers to be productive and efficient.
