Item La familia como eje fundamental en la creación de hábitos de higiene en los niños y niñas de cuatro y cinco años del liceo los Guayupines(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Angulo Caicedo, Kelly Xiomara; Escobar Angulo, Yoly Yinella; Mena Rodríguez, Paola Andrea; Pardo Jaramillo, SorayaThis project is focused on the family as a fundamental axis in the creation of hygiene habits, since the family is the first institution where cultural bases, rules, grooming habits, social roles, ethical, moral and religious values are founded. Therefore, when children enter school they carry with them a series of knowledge that is instilled from the family, which are reinforced in the educational field, in order for children to grow and develop holistically. For this reason, the main objective of this academic work is to identify the characteristics of children from four to five years of age at Los Guayupines High School compared to hygiene habits. Similarly, an interview was conducted with the teacher of the transition grade, and a survey of the parents of the children immersed in the research, with the purpose of collecting information regarding the purpose of the research. According to the results obtained, it can be deduced that most of the children had knowledge about hygiene habits, given that parents and school encourage these habits, it was also found that some children do not appropriately appropriate the techniques of cleanliness, that is why to promote these self-care routines the pedagogical strategy was carried out: "Take care of our body" which consisted of providing tools to promote personal self-care through recreational activities
