Item Evaluación del plan de manejo del área protegida Parque Natural Municipal "El Resplandor" municipio de Yumbo(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2018) Erazo Bonilla, Harold; Fuentes Delgado, José EduardoThe evaluation and monitoring of the management plans of the declared protected areas and their effectiveness in achieving the conservation objectives proposed in the declaration are fundamental for the consolidation of a complete, representative and effectively managed municipal system of protected areas. The Municipality of Yumbo has 11 national, regional and municipal protected areas in its territory, which is why it is very important to evaluate the effectiveness of the management plans that have been formulated and implemented, as a first phase the evaluation of the formulation of the management plan must be addressed, in this case study the formulation of the management plan of the Municipal Natural Park Resplandor (PNM), located in the Municipality of Yumbo Valle, was evaluated by means of the analysis of the methodology and guidelines of the biodiversity group of the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Valle del Cauca CVC .The evaluation was based on a detailed review of each of the phases included in the management plan, such as the preparation, diagnosis, ordering, strategic plan, execution and follow-up phase. This allowed to conclude that this document complies with the guidelines of the methodology proposed by the CVC, however, it presents in the diagnostic phase flaws in the characterization of biodiversity (Fauna and Flora), which will affect the formulation plan, generating a Low efficiency when it is implemented.
