It is important to recognize free trade agreements as generators of business opportunities, as well as how the country is responding to the internationalization of its products. An analysis of how to improve the use of these FTAs in force in the current decade is carried out, from the generalities at the national level to something more regional such as the Valle del Cauca, scientific databases such as Sciencie Direct were used, Google Scholar and Scopus for the bibliographic review, in addition parameters relevant to the chosen topic were used. Este artículo, tomando como referencia la experiencia de una pyme colombiana, se propone llamar la atención sobre los factores socioculturales que deben tener en cuenta las empresas interesadas en abrir filiales en el mercado ecuatoriano, a través del análisis de estudios que exponen la relevancia del tema, y recomendar elementos claves para adquirir competencias interculturales en la comunicación efectiva y el trabajo en equipo, como por ejemplo, la importancia de la no confrontación y el respeto a los títulos y a la autoridad por parte de los ecuatorianos. Los gerentes de las empresas con interés de internacionalizarse deben enfrentar el reto de administrar el choque cultural como parte de su estrategia.Item Consideración del cannabis medicinal en la oferta exportadora del valle del cauca(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Flórez Camayo, Paola Andrea; Franco Salamanca, Sofía; Trujillo Ibarra, Dhalma Giselle; Donado Mercado, Alexandra PatriciaThe use of Cannabis for medicinal purposes is an industry that is making its way in the Colombian economy, only in 2016 Law 1787 of 2016 was enacted, which authorized the cultivation and manufacture of inputs and products of the plant solely for purposes medicinal products, thus allowing companies from different departments of Colombia to obtain licenses for the use of seeds for sowing, non-psychoactive cannabis cultivation or psychoactive cannabis cultivation. Currently, Cundinamarca, Antioquia, Cauca and Valle del Cauca are the departments that lead the largest number of companies with authorized crops. The methodology used for its development was a review of the literature on fruit trading and trade agreements. The main results show Colombia’s great potential in this sector thanks to the biodiversity it has, its climate and its geographical position, which is the reason it offers the right conditions for the production of both tropical and exotic fruits. The methodology used is a literature review, which shows a problem that consists of the amount of waste accumulated with decomposition up to 1,000 years. This has made society aware when looking for methods to contribute positively to the environment. The participation of the millennial generation is crucial, because they are highly influential in the social media, a network which currently it`s use is very common, therefore this research contributes to the analysis of the demand in this generation with biodegradable products where it promotes the benefits offered by the Pacific Alliance agreement to exploit its full potential in each member country.
