In addition to paying attention to other areas that are fundamental for the good development of their projects. Every organization needs to become agile to achieve satisfactory results regardless of the type of company, or the market where it operates, which also means changes in structure, collaboration patterns and many other areas that are key to the good development of its projects. The objective of this research is to analyze the relationship between traditional project management methodologies and agile methodologies. To carry out this work, the specialized literature has been reviewed, taking information from bases such as Dialnet, Academic Report and ScienceDirect. Traditional methodologies are characterized by being rigid in aspects such as time, that is, they do not allow margin of error in terms of previously established times; in addition, they focus primarily on processes, not people (customers). On the other hand, agile methodologies allow changes in the delivery times of projects even when they are underway and one of their main characteristics is the focus on people.
