Item Evaluación de la implementación del eje No.1 "Promoción y garantía de los derechos humanos", de la política Pública Nacional de envejecimiento y vejez, en la comuna No.11 del Distrito de Buenaventura, periodo 2016-2017(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Delgado Mosquera, Yolida; Ortíz Devia, Oscar MarioThe main objective of this research was to evaluate the implementation of Axis No. 1 of the Public Policy on Aging and Old Age, "Promotion and Guarantee of Human Rights of the Elderly", in Commune 11 of the Buenaventura District Cauca) in the period from 2016 to 2017. For this purpose, it was designed under a type of descriptive study, with a qualitative approach, which allowed the use of techniques such as semi-structured interview, survey and bibliographic review, Of Public Officials, community leaders and directly of older adults living in Commune 11 of the District of Buenaventura. Finally, it is concluded that in the District of Buenaventura, there has been no progress in the implementation of the Axis No. 1 of the Public Policy on Aging and Old Age 2007-2019, and that the work being carried out for the guarantee and Defense of the Human Rights of senior citizens of Commune 11, is based on and around the national program "Greater Colombia", which has as main strategy, the delivery of a cash subsidy to people who are registered .
