Item Representaciones Sociales de tres víctimas de explotación sexual que han sido apoyadas por la Fundación Empodérame de Cali(2024) Castro Estacio, Saidy; Rodríguez Triviño, Monica Yulissa; Ospina Nieto, YovanySantiago de Cali is a Colombian district which is considered the capital of the Valle del Cauca, which is positioned as the third most populated city in Colombia and the third economic and cultural center. But, in the same way, it highlights the different social problems that are framed within it, focusing on sexual exploitation as a manifestation of gender violence based on inequality and economic and social vulnerability, which makes it difficult for victims to recover and reintegrate into society. In this case, the male gender as a sign of hierarchy in patriarchal society is positioned in the conservation of an unequal model within the structure of labor, social and cultural practices in this context, putting women in a vulnerable situation. This is why, from a qualitative approach and in relation to the general objective, we sought to “Analyze the social representations of three victims of sexual exploitation who have received psychosocial support from the Empodérame Foundation of Cali”, in which three categories were identified as the main causes of the social problem presented, these allowed the development of the writing in the following way, mainly the social representations of Serge Moscovici and other referents, secondly sexual exploitation and finally psychosocial care. Now, the collection instrument used was semi-structured interviews and life stories, which allowed the writing to be placed in the realities presented by these women in relation to sexual exploitation, to give answers to the different theories that are intertwined with the reality of society.
