Item Factores causales del síndrome de burnout en profesionales de la salud(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Bonilla Preciado, Karol Andrea; Campo Asprilla, Cindy Dialith; García Moreno, Angélica; Ortega Arce, Dina Carmenza (Directora)Burnout Syndrome is born from the response of the individual to chronic stress due to his or her work activities, being the result of a long and cumulative period of time, it causes negative emotions in the work areas and can affect the health of workers at a general level, it can also have psychosomatic, behavioral, emotional, family and social repercussions, and can also cause absenteeism at work and poor performance at work. This review was therefore aimed at identifying the causal factors of Burnout Syndrome in health professionals through existing scientific evidence on the subject. in order to establish strategies for the prevention of the topic in future work on the subject. For this purpose, we used the collection of scientific articles located in indexed journals such as Google academic, Scopus, ScienceDirect and Scielo, where 16 articles were selected for the review, for this selection criteria were used of selection and exclusion as a temporary nature. articles complete and excluded articles that do not present author and year. The review highlighted that the female gender is the most prevalent of having Burnout Syndrome, where nurses, nursing assistants and doctors are the health professions most affected by the Syndrome.
