The text addresses migration, highlighting its constant presence in human history and emphasizing Venezuelan migration to Colombia as a significant phenomenon. Venezuelan migrants, seeking to improve their quality of life, have faced difficulties due to the crisis in their country. The large influx of migrants to Colombia has generated tensions and xenophobia; therefore, addressing mental health becomes important. In this case, the focus is on Lucia, a 22-year-old migrant. The strategy to mitigate the negative impact on Lucia's mental health is artistic mediation as a method of community support, providing her with an emotional outlet and promoting social inclusion. This approach strengthens her skills to integrate into community life in Colombia, thus promoting her psychological well-being and mental health. The objective is to contribute to the understanding of how artistic mediation supports the development of resilience in migrants and contributes to their mental health. A qualitative methodology was used, based on life history and interviews, with an inductive approach to identify categories such as experiences generating emotional distress, coping strategies, social skills, social acceptance, and resilience.
