La Teoría de la Justicia de Jürgen Habermas y El Mito
(Universidad Santiago Cali, 2018) Caicedo Rey, Viviana
Contemporary theoretical debates about justice have focused especially on two dimensions: an economic and a cultural one. Hence, different authors argue that justice problems are resolved from a more equitable distribution of resources or "primary goods" as Rawls (1997) would put it or in recognition of the identity of individuals or individuals. groups that translate into protection and non-discrimination based on ethnicity, culture, sexual orientation or gender with which they identify. Nancy Fraser in her book “scales of justice” (2012) has stated that the economic and cultural dimensions cannot be split since the problems of injustice in the globalized society are not solved only from a redistribution without touching the aspect of recognition, nor respecting diversity without solving economic exclusion, since these are related.
