Item Analisis de las estrategias de adaptacion de colombia al cambio climatico(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Mejia Carvajal, Geraldine Camila; Brochero Sanchez, Diana Katherine; Gonzalez Gonzalez, Brigytt; Romo Londoño, Herliz Juliana (Directora)The purpose of this work was to analyze the adaptation strategies to climate change in Colombia. This research was descriptive and the method was analytical since the topic was divided into the following components: global warming problem, Colombia's Climate Change Adaptation Strategies and their degree of compliance, Colombia's Current Strategies for Climate Change Adaptation Climate. For which information was used from secondary sources of databases such as web pages, public and private institutions, academic Google and websites in governmental and private organizations. The data collection technique was bibliographic review and documentary analysis. The results show the seriousness of the problem of climate change for the future of the earth, and the increase in temperature of the atmosphere (greenhouse effect), has been accelerated by human activities, so it is important to take actions to adapt to changes. Irreversible. Colombia formulated a National Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change which contains three objectives with their strategies: Objective 1. Knowledge: strategies 1) Strengthening of management, 2) Education and 3) Strengthening of capacities. Objective 2. Planning: strategies 1) Incorporation of variability and 2) Development of projects. Objective 3. Transformation of development: strategies 1) Impact management, 2) Agricultural production, 3) Prospective reduction and 4) Green growth. In Latin America and the Caribbean, there is a varied portfolio of public policies on adaptation and mitigation with different situations by country. However, there are differences in the public policies enunciated, which are concentrated in some sectors, such as adaptation in water, biodiversity, forests, agriculture, infrastructure and human settlements, and mitigation in forests, energy or transportation. However, high uncertainty about the effects of the policies persists. For the improvement of adaptation strategies Which we believe requires innovation to take advantage of available knowledge and technology in an ingenious way, while developing greater knowledge on the subject and achieving the development of specialized technology to help Colombia adapt to this phenomenon. In conclusion, the problem of global warming is serious and it is expected that the Colombian adaptation plan will reduce its effects.
