For these reasons, I have seen the need to implement the tools of the Lean Manufacturing philosophy as a differentiating element to achieve high productivity, competitiveness and profitability. Through the consultation of articles and degree projects in universities of different vehicle producing countries, a bibliographic review was carried out where the application of Lean Manufacturing tools in the automotive industry was carried out and success stories were known in its implementation in Hirschmann Automotive Company, Metalsa Mexico, General Motors GM COLMOTORES SA. Tecnicamp, Renault SOFASA S.A.S, Maresa, workshop of Colisiones de Metrocar SA; In which more information will be expanded in the body of this article, these companies have sustained that they have been more competitive and stronger with the implementation of some of the techniques contained in Lean Manufacturing
