Item Revisión de la etnoeducación como política pública en el municipio de Jamundí Valle del Cauca en el periodo 2012-2015(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2017) Borrero Salazar, Jhon Alexander; Lasso Balanta, Rigoberto; Perdomo Jacanamejoy, Jesús DavidThe etnoeducation gives to the students the importance that they are educated with the knowledge of its ethnic group, emphasizing and contributing them to its formative process while at the same time trying to conserve its cultural roots with which they feel fully identified and the contribution of the teachers when Affirm the importance of stimulating in students their own recognition, that of their history, their African past, their trajectory for Colombia, thus raising their sense of belonging, of appropriation, of pride towards their race, allowing these exercises to advance in the process formative. Also, to disconnect them from the taxation models even when providing their education by acquiring strategic possibilities born from their environment as a possibility of appropriation of their territory and conservation of their culture. From the institutional point of view, and for the case of the Jamundi administration, it is important to know the plans and programs of study in this field, because there is a theoretical gap regarding the cultural, social and recognition situations of the Afro-Colombian ethnic group present in the region. Given that this is an aspect to be taken into account by the different entities that integrate the educational community and the different ones to strengthen interethnic relations, based on respect for difference social behaviors, respect for ancestral legacies, and cultural expressions.
