(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2020) Barandica, Diana Carolina; Orejuela Barona, María Angélica; Torres Zambrano, Natalia
The influence of the home on the acquisition of children's language is a dynamic process that influences the evolution in all the areas that are submerged in it, however, it is not the family that ends or concludes the process, as it is interrelated with the educational context, being they who contribute to the development of the communicative and cognitive capacities of children, therefore, in this research, the purpose was to explore the perspective of teachers and families regarding the development of language of a group of children aged 2- 3 years institutionalized in an initial education environment in Santiago de Cali in 2020. To meet the objective of the study, it was developed under a descriptive and crosssectional quantitative approach, initially based on the definition of the observable criteria expected against the development of expressive and comprehensive language in children between 2 and 3 years of age. where the BATELLE® language assessment instruments and the checklist of The American Speech-languageHearing Association (ASHA) were used as a reference for the construction of a language assessment tool in children aged 2 to 3 years, which was fed with the theoretical proposals of Owens, Hodson, Guiroy et al and Sánchez, where 22 observable criteria for monitoring language development were consolidated in the comprehensive and expressive component and the phonological, semantic, and syntactic subcomponents , morphological and pragmatic. In the results it was found that of the 22 criteria, it was possible to make territorial validation of 1 criteria a Based on the exploration of the perspectives of caregivers and teachers of children from 2 to 3 years of age, in addition, slogan 22 requires adjustments and revalidation, since it suggested lack of recognition in the scope of the competition, 100% of the representations Family members consisted of a female figure, these being the mothers, one grandmother and the teacher, who had the resources to report the criteria to be evaluated.
