The World Health Organization (WHO) has highlighted domestic violence as a priority public health problem due to its immediate and long-term negative consequences. This problem is especially critical during adolescence, a period of significant biological, psychological and social changes that can be deeply marked by violence. Adolescents, as a vulnerable group, often internalize it. This article seeks to contribute to the understanding of these impacts. Through the methodology of documentary analysis, the bibliographic review technique and the hermeneutic paradigm, collecting studies carried out between 2018 and 2024. Using the Specialized Analytical Review (RAE) matrix to organize the information in a structured way. The results highlight that psychological and physical violence are the most common forms of abuse in the family environment, generating behavioral effects in adolescents such as aggression and the normalization of violence, as well as cognitive problems related to learning and memory. In the emotional sphere, these adolescents present high levels of stress, low self-esteem and a greater risk of psychopathologies
