For the years 2020, 2021 and 2022, the company has increased its physical loss of packaging material in the distribution center, which implies that the theoretical balances do not agree with the physical material that should be in the warehouse, and the controls that are established by the company do not seem to have the desired effect, for this reason, in search of a solution to the loss of packaging material, it is proposed to work under academic tools such as the Pareto diagram, porter matrix and cause-effect matrix that will be led for the human talent that the company allocates to deal with this environmental, logistical and financial problem that represents tangible and intangible losses as the years go by. In the document, the different indicators and monitoring strategies can be evidenced to solve the problems that the company is experiencing and that thanks to the proposed strategies, a positive trend can be observed in terms of reducing the loss of packaging material.
