Item Estudio comparativo de las competencias del personal que tripula ambulancias en latinoamérica durante el 2022: Una revisión de alcance(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2022) Arcos Murcia, Evelyn; Linette Caicedo Cantor, Angie; Lopez Guzman, Carlos Alberto (Director)The objective of this research work is to identify, according to the history of prehospital care, which are the competencies that ambulance crews have from the academic field, comparing the subjects offered by each educational institution according to the country, without leaving aside the laws and regulations of the same, in order to recognize the failures or gaps in knowledge that health personnel in Colombia have, the methodology used was non-experimental and with data collection through bibliographic sources. Tables and graphical data will be found for each of the institutions that offer health careers related to prehospital care or that have the knowledge to crew land transport in Latin America, in addition to comparative studies of the curricula with similar subjects and a wide variety of academic plans subject to the regulations of each country, as well, It was identified that countries such as Peru, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Uruguay have a more specialized curriculum in pediatric emergencies, rescue and trauma, unlike El Salvador which is a nation where an out-of-hospital career is not taught, the purpose is to obtain a clear result of the intellect and capabilities of the personnel who attend medical emergencies in Latin America.
