Clinically it is divided into emphysema and chronic bronchitis, which trigger a reduction of the airways, thus limiting airflow with the consequent problems at alveolar and respiratory level. Therefore, the relationship of this pathology with physical tests have shown that it has great benefit in these patients, as they become predictors of mortality and improve quality of life, these tests are known as the sit to stand (STS) and its different protocols 1 minute sit to stand (1STS), 5 seconds sit to stand (5STS), 30 seconds sit to stand repetition (30STSTST) and the six minute walk test (6MWT), these programs improve functional capacity in patients, decreasing the risk of dyspnea
