Item Revisión de alcance evaluativa sobre el manejo de los residuos del fresado de zirconia(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2025) Arboleda Estrella, Lizeth Daniela; García Moreno, María de los Ángeles; Sánchez Arteaga, Claudia Patricia (Directora)The dust waste from milling zirconia increases every day due to the growth in the development of the technology that is carried out in different dental laboratories worldwide, which suggests a need to put this waste to use in its correct reuse. The economic and environmental impact generated by zirconia waste is very influential since it could reduce the amount of zirconia that ends up in landfills, laboratories could save on the reuse of zirconia milling dust, which represents a significant opportunity to improve the sustainability and efficiency of the dental industry. The general purpose of this project is to identify, analyze and report what is considered waste, turning it into a valuable resource, thus promoting the optimization of a new sustainable and efficient material. This approach not only benefits the environment and the economy of laboratories, but also drives innovation and awareness throughout the dental industry.
