Item Mapeo del flujo de valor (VSM) en el sector de servicios Colombia vs Brasil(Universidad Santiago de Cali, 2019) Angulo Tejada, Yulmi Daniela; Argotty Hurtado, Andrés Felipe; Mendoza Albino, Ana María; Ramírez Guespú, Julián AndrésIn today's world (technological, competitive, globalized), it is evident the increase in customer demand in terms of quality and confidence, which is why, organizations independent of the economic sector in which they are must have clarity and control of all activities carried out before a product or service reaches the final consumer (customer); due to the above, some companies in Colombia have implemented Lean Manufacturing methodology tools, a clear example of this is the value stream mapping (VSM), which they have used in order to have timely knowledge about the development of their processes. By means of this article it is intended to make known some of the implementations of the VSM tool in companies corresponding to the two large economic sectors of the country that are the productive sector and the service sector, as well as the results obtained in both cases; the research has been based on articles from renowned journals that have documented the implementation of the tool in different Colombian companies.
