Mejoramiento en la gestión de residuos en un edificio universitario con estrategias de ciudad inteligente

In this project an improvement was made in the management of waste in a university building with smart city strategies, whose objective was to make a diagnosis of the current state of said university building, analyzing waste management standards and process indicators, this in order to identify improvements in waste management and review available smart city alternatives, emphasizing the need to have a strategy to achieve the objectives, we opted for the strategy that optimizes times, routes and the eleven reduction of operating costs when carrying out these activities in everyday life, such is the case of the implementation of remote sensors in garbage cans. In the first chapter of the project, an introduction is presented, briefly explaining the antecedents that are key to the development of our central theme. The second chapter refers to the problem, formulation of the problem and systematization of the problem, the justification is stated, this being the purpose for which this work was developed, using certain ICT (Information and Communication Technologies), as sensors, communication interfaces and connectivity structures in the improvement of the waste management system that is part of the university.
